It has been our tradition on the Antioch Podcast to pause when we hit a milestone to reflect on the experience of being a part of this podcast. The Antioch Podcast began in August of 2016 when President Obama was in office to provide multiethnic church leaders with tools to understand what it meant to worship together as diverse people. In fact, our name reflects this mission as the church in ancient Antioch was the birthplace of the first multiethnic Christian church recorded in the book of Acts.
Since our launch, the podcast continued to provide education on Biblical Antiracism to anyone who was curious about such things. Through the Trump and Biden years, this podcast has moved forward with this mission, most weeks recording a long-format conversation on this theme between a multiethnic group of cohosts – fondly referred to as our team of antiracism educators and friends. Over the past 8 years, cohosts have come and gone, but the mission has remained the same: The Antioch Podcast is a place where we have conversations about what it means to care about racial justice as Christians. And so, with this 300th episode, we take a moment to pause and reflect on this work, together.
Episode 300: The 300th Episode!!! – “Looking In, Looking Back, Looking Ahead.”
