Antiracism is nothing without stories, and some of the most powerful stories are told through movies. In the short span of 90 minutes or more, movies can take us on a journey through our imaginations to think about ideas and feel things that we don’t experience in our everyday lives. In this series, our team of Christian antiracism educators and friends share some of our favorite movies that help us consider the perspectives of other people, face stories, or think about things through the lens of antiracism.
First up is the movie Origin, which you can watch on Amazon Prime and other platforms. There will be some spoilers in this podcast, so if you haven’t seen this movie, and you really want to, hit pause, watch the movie, and then come right back to this episode to hear our team’s reflections.
